Amutham music was started in the year 2000 with two catalogues encompassing some of the finest pieces in Carnatic music. From that point on, the company has grown in leaps and bounds to one that has 120 catalogues in its possession. Amutham has now a diverse range of music to offer to buyers all around the world with its collection of Carnatic and Devotional Music.

Dr. Winston Panchacharam (USA) has been the spark of inspiration for the birth of Amutham Music. It’s a matter of pride and privelage that Amutham music has Padmasri Sudha Ragunathan as its managing director.

Its director, Mr. M.C. Ragunathan says, “Amutham is a company that is dedicated to uphold the legacy of Indian culture and provide audiences all over the world with an opportunity to appreciate what India has to offer.”

The reason behind the company’s success has always been the drive to provide music that is rich in variety and that which is divine to the ear.

In order to expose people to the heritage of the Vedas, Amutham Music also made recordings of the Vedic chants.
